Thanksgiving Weekend

We were off again on travels - Thanksgiving weekend. I started out cranky - WHY can't I stay home for a bit? But it was a very nice trip--Moncton to Truro to Digby to Saint John.
The first night we stayed in a motel in Windsor, NS. This was the only motel room left in the town. The manager did not believe in turning on the heat this early in the fall. He actually told Sterling this! So we went prepared to bed in jogging pants, sweatshirts, socks and fleece hats. We needed them all. The next morning the water was frozen in the mudpuddles. We made a fast get away--in the car with the HEATER on high.
